  • When Pac-Man first came out you could take a quarter and a piece of thread and tape the thread to the side of the quarter using scotch tape and lower the coin down the slot til it clicked a credit. Then pull it back up and do it again......and again and again and again til u had like 100 plays or more. Then they started putting flaps that would close after the quarter slid past so you couldn’t pull it up again. But for a while it was sweet!!!!

I had a computer, sitting on my desk, but could not figure out how to be in front of the computer screen, for long periods of time, comfortably. Someone suggested I go and buy a chair. Well, I went and hacked my computer desk, and I got a rolling chair, that can spin around 360*. I can sit in my hacked chair, and play games all day now.....

I was a kid and the cars were all really expensive, but the game was rigged so that you had to use them to win. I managed to buy only like 4 of the 12 cars and wiggle them enough inside the controller to trick the game into thinking I had all of them. Saved like $40

  • much like the first example with cartridge tilting. when i used to play final fantasy viii on my ps1 or ps2. you could open open the disk tray or drive as you go into a card battle and it would seemingly shutdown the games ai and you could win every single card battle no matter how good or bad the cards were because the ai would just randomly place their cards down. after the battle was won you simply close the tray and the game loads right back up where you were.
