  • IDK why everyone had such a hard time with the water temple in OOT. The only key I had even a small amount of difficulty finding was the one on the INSIDE of the central pillar after raising the water. I think this was because the game doesn't ever make you back in there after the first time so you don't think there is anything else there and don't think to sink to the bottom. But that particular key I found by looking at the map, so it held up my progress for all of a couple minutes. I felt that the rest of the temple was actually quite linear.

  • I bought an official guide when I was younger. The magazine would have multiple paragraphs and pics so I would dot each paragraph upon completion. Only to find out, lo behold, It seemed like they skipped over an entire paragraph (maybe at least a sentence or two but a bullet point for sure) but I couldn't go any further cause obviously I was missing something. Probably a key or the water level wasn't where it was supposed to be, cant fully recall.

This Zelda is a carbon copy with a few extra items, so the sequences and items for this game is the same as the original.

  • Hardest key I've ever gotten? Maxwell's door in Don't starve. It's the door you use to activate the story mode of don't starve and to this day, I've never met anyone who wasn't playing since launch that even knew that game *had* a story mode. First off to even find Maxwell's door you need a divining rod. Which is made of gears (hard to get) and nightmare fuel (hard to get AND VALUABLE) and the highest tier of science machine in the game. So effectively, you're not doing this until you have basically mastered survival mode which... have you played don't starve? Shit's hard. You then need to use the diving rod (which works like a kind of proximity radar) to find Maxwell's door. The problem is it doesn't JUST find Maxwell's door, it also finds "things" which are one of a kind objects used to construct a portal... that resets your entire game world to newgame+. So it's entirely possible to get this far in the game and then accidentally destroy all your progress. But if you do find maxwell's door you can use it and bring four items over to the adventure mode. What's your reward for reaching adventure mode? Doing it all again, only this time in a world that is somehow modified to make everything harder. Feature favorites include: The world of forever winter, the world of "Constant rain and snow and also fuck you some base material is gonna be arbitrarily hard to find", the world of "Time is wildly inconsistent, try not to accidentally teleport into darkness", the world of "ETERNAL DARKNESS" after that is some spoilery stuff I won't mention here.

  • There was this asshole key in "Eternal Ring." It's just this tiny little thing camoflaged on the ground. My brother and I wandered for ages trying to figure out how to move dorward, and the key had just been there on the ground.
